A dynamic and growing financial services firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their accounting team. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) accurately and in a timely manner
Generate and send client invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing terms
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding accounts via phone and email
Research and resolve payment discrepancies or client billing issues
Maintain accurate records of AR transactions and update customer accounts as needed
Assist with monthly close tasks related to AR
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth billing and collection processes
Prepare AR reports for management as requested
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Schedule:
Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
